How to Join ELITE

ELITE members include directors, managers, professionals, academics, thought leaders and others, from all sectors, both inside and outside the IT industry. Application for membership is open to anyone, whether or not a member of BCS, responsible for or influential upon the leadership of IT who has attained at least fellowship in their professional institutes (Fellow of BCS (FBCS) or equivalent, e.g., SFIA+ Level 7), or is nominated by three current ELITE members.

If you are a Fellow of BCS, please include your BCS membership number with your application. If you are not a FBCS, please include your BCS membership number, if any, and your CV. BCS ELITE on LinkedIn

Only members of ELITE are eligible to join the BCS ELITE Group on LinkedIn. Members of ELITE, who have not already done so, should apply to join this Group here (opens in a new browser tab) where they can keep up with events and discussions. Please supply your BCS number, if you have one, to elitememsec@bcs.org at the same time as your application through LinkedIn or state that you are a member of ELITE and have applied to join BCS ELITE on LinkedIn.

If you are a FBCS but not a member of ELITE and submit an application to join the LinkedIn Group, you will be added to the ELITE membership list and approved to join this Group. If you are not a FBCS and apply to join ELITE through LinkedIn, please supply your CV and BCS membership number, if any. If these are not supplied within two weeks, it will be assumed that you have withdrawn both your application to join ELITE and BCS ELITE on LInkedIn and so you will be sent a “Decline” message from LinkedIn.
